The Newcastle United fandom is in panic mode following an interview with CEO Darren Eales, who conceded that the club will have to sell players.
Because the internet is such a normal place where everyone is calm and pragmatic, we all accepted it at face value and went to bed calmly that night. The end.
Wait, did the opposite happen? Darren Eales made no reference of specific players in his comments, nor did he imply that he was referring to top players, but fans, worked up into a frenzy by the media, have collectively decided that we are surely selling Bruno Guimaraes because Eales said so.
Fabrizio Romano has poured cold water on the Bruno rumours
Now transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano has added his two-pence worth into the mix.
Romano reaffirmed what we’ve been saying: Bruno does not want to go.
“Despite rumours, nothing is clear now on Bruno Guimaraes. Bruno has not decided to leave, there’s nothing decided in terms of price, all reports on Spanish clubs are not confirmed just because time for decisions is not now. Bruno is expected to stay in January and then in the next months we will see what happens.”
So let’s all take a deep breath and focus on the fact that ARSENAL WILL BUY ALEXANDER ISAK!
Newcastle are trying to shine a spotlight on PSR and how unfair they are
Seriously, the club is not panicked, and there is no call to sell our great players, who were brought in to help us develop a squad. Selling Sven Botman, Bruno Guimaraes, or Alexander Isak is simply not an option; they represent the foundation for our new side, and losing any of them would be a step backward.
FFP is causing us problems, yes, but not to the point where we must sell our prize assets.
Furthermore, we are certain that the whining about FFP is a tactic to bring its injustice to everyone’s notice in order to force change, and with all of the punishments being flung around right now, as well as Everton’s lawsuit, there is no better time for us to hop on this bandwagon.
