Insider Says Dolphins Will Likely Get 2 Key Players Back Vs. Chiefs

The Miami Dolphins were unable to clinch the AFC East title in Week 18 after losing to the Buffalo Bills.

The Dolphins struggled to move the ball against a resurgent Bills defense, and they will now meet the Kansas City Chiefs on the road in the 2023 NFL Playoffs.
Miami faced Buffalo sans Jaylen Waddle and Raheem Mostert.

Waddle and Mostert are dealing with ankle and knee problems, respectively, which leaves their status against the Chiefs uncertain.

However, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that the Dolphins will have them accessible because they are hopeful about their health after little practice time.

“Neither Jaylen Waddle nor Raheem Mostert played on Sunday night versus Buffalo. Both have been suffering with ankle and knee problems, and the Dolphins are hoping they will be available for Saturday night’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs. Schefter predicted that they will return to the field Saturday night in Kansas City.

The Dolphins’ offense thrives when both Waddle and Mostert are on the field, and their presence would be a significant benefit against the Chiefs’ formidable defense.

While most supporters predict a shootout between the two teams, the outcome could be determined by the defenses’ performance.

Miami is at a disadvantage after losing numerous defensive players in recent weeks, which means that the offense may have to do the heavy lifting.

Waddle and Mostert may not be at full strength, but they are still two of the greatest skill position players on the squad and can make plays at any time.
