Golden State Warriors Reportedly Open to Trading All-Star

Following a dismal start to the season, it appears like the Golden State Warriors have had enough. They’re now willing to trade significant assets, including Andrew Wiggins.

Marc Stein, an NBA insider, appeared on the #thisleague UNCUT podcast and discussed the Warriors’ trade of Andrew Wiggins. “When I talk to other teams more and more, I’m hearing that there’s an anticipation now that the Warriors will be open to trading Andrew Wiggins,” Stein went on to say. “Because Wiggins and Kuminga, when they’ve played together, the Warriors would be the first to tell you it hasn’t gone well.”

As the season progresses, it’s increasingly evident that the Warriors should prioritize younger talents such as Brandin Podziemski and Jonathan Kuminga over their more experienced players like Andrew Wiggins. Wiggins has struggled significantly this season, losing his starting position and becoming a liability on the court.

The Warriors’ primary issue revolves around their inability to maintain substantial leads. Despite holding double-digit advantages against teams like the Nuggets or Clippers, they consistently falter in the late stages of games. While uncertain if a trade can resolve this, it might inject a much-needed rejuvenation into the team.
