This could be really bad news for the Chicago Bulls

The recent Zach LaVine trade update has to be considered extremely discouraging for the Chicago Bulls.

As the Chicago Bulls have started to play better recently, with Zach LaVine out with an injury, you have to wonder how much longer it will take the team to find a new home for its once-promising explosive guard.

Given how things have progressed in recent weeks, it would be remarkable if the Bulls did not eventually sell LaVine before the trade deadline. In fact, I’d say that he’s the biggest figure who will most likely be relocated before February 8.

However, there hasn’t been much of a trade market for LaVine up until now. LaVine appears to be a natural fit for the Los Angeles Lakers, Philadelphia 76ers, and Miami Heat.

However, there hasn’t been much progress on either front.

In response to a Threads question, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski provided a gloomy update on the Bulls’ LaVine trade front. He stated that the market for LaVine is still “barren,” and that his latest ailment hasn’t helped the Bulls in their pursuit of a trade.

The Chicago Bulls have to be hopeful a trade for Zach LaVine develops

There are exactly six weeks before the NBA Trade Deadline, and the Bulls don’t have much leeway in finding a new home for LaVine. With LaVine still on the roster, the Bulls cannot afford to approach the second half of the season middling around without a long-term plan. If. If Chicago believes LaVine is a distraction now, I can’t imagine keeping him for the rest of the season being the answer.

On the other hand, I’m not sure how prepared the Bulls are to make a trade merely to get rid of LaVine. Are the Bulls now past the point of no return? That is yet to be determined.

Despite the fact that this news is depressing, the Bulls must remain hopeful that they will be able to reach an agreement at some time. With the number of buyers being reported and the low number of sellers, there has to be one team prepared to take a chance on LaVine. At this point, that’s all the Bulls can hope for.
