Charlton Athletic are keen on Arsenal youngster Charles Sagoe, according to a report by TEAMtalk.
The Football League club have been linked with a January move for the Premier League player.
Sagoe, 19, is said to be working on a loan escape this winter.
According to TEAMtalk, he has caught the attention of Millwall in the Championship, as well as Charlton, Barnsley, and Reading in League One, so he doesn’t look to be short on choices.
Charlton Athletic, Barnsley, and Millwall are all interested in Arsenal forward Sagoe, who has been with the club since 2015 after previously playing for Fulham.
He has since progressed through the Emirates Stadium academy ranks and has been a vital player for the Gunners at various young levels in recent years.
Mikel Arteta gave the teenager his senior debut against Brentford in the EFL Cup in September. However, he has only made one first-team appearance for the Premier League giants.
A temporary exit next month would allow him to gain some Football League experience. He would benefit more from regular senior football than from playing with Arsenal’s development squad.
Sagoe has made eight Premier League 2 appearances so far this season, contributing a single goal and six assists.
In the third tier, Charlton, Barnsley, and Reading may be able to provide him more game time than Millwall. Under Joe Edwards, the Lions are presently 20th in the Championship league as they attempt to avoid relegation, although Sagoe would have tougher competition for his starting spot up front at The Den.
