According to Tuttosport, Milan owner Gerry Cardinale will take action at the end of the season to address the Rossoneri’s injury crisis, which means Stefano Pioli or some of his staff may go in June.
Milan players have already suffered 29 injuries this season, and club owner Cardinale is concerned by the trend in Milanello, according to Tuesday’s printed edition of Tuttosport (page 17), and will act at the end of the season.
According to the article, either Stefano Pioli or some of his staff will quit the club at the end of the season, as Cardinale sees the large number of injuries as one of Milan’s primary concerns thus far.
A crucial Champions League home game against Borussia Dortmund at the end of November was especially painful for the Rossoneri, who were missing Rafael Leao, Noah Okafor, Mattia Caldara, Pierre Kalulu, Simon Kjaer, and Marco Sportiello.
Tommaso Pobega and Okafor were injured in Milan’s most recent home game against Monza, bringing the total number of injuries this season to 29.
