Dan Burn now makes “unbelievable” Sandro Tonali admission

Dan Burn has claimed that Sandro Tonali’s English has improved dramatically since joining the club from AC Milan in the summer.

Speaking on Ben Foster’s podcast, the defender confessed that communicating with the Italian and getting involved in things he didn’t understand was difficult at first, but that his English is now “unbelievable.”

“When he initially arrived, his English wasn’t very good. It’s difficult. “You want to include him in everything, but it’s difficult because you can’t speak,” he explained.

“However, his English is now unbelievable.” Unbelievable…I was talking to him the other day and thought to myself, “Wow, your English is a lot better!”

Burn also rejected rumors that his teammates had sent him to Wetherspoons shortly after his arrival from Milan! Watch the video below:

With the 23-year-old suspended from football until August 2024 for illicit betting activity, now is an excellent moment for the midfielder to study the language, and it appears he is doing so!

Tonali must have had a difficult time, but simple things like this will help him earn support from his Toon teammates and assimilate into the group during what must have been a difficult time.
