Burnley now happy and willing to let player leave in January

Darko Churlinov’s representative has admitted that his client wants to return to Schalke in the January transfer window, and Burnley are happy to let him go.

WAZ is covering the potential transfer today and has spoken with Churlinov’s agent, Mehmet Eser, to get his take on the situation.

According to recent reports, Churlinov might be a possibility for his previous club as they aim to bolster their striker options during the January transfer window.

According to those sources, the forward is still popular at the club, where he had a successful loan spell earlier in his career and became a fan favorite.

He’s had a difficult time since, notably since joining Burnley, where he’s failed to impress Vincent Kompany and has spent most of the last year in hospital with blood poisoning, which ruined a move away in the summer.
WAZ has now picked up on the story, claiming that Churlinov is ‘ready to return’ to Schalke and might be the club’s first signing of the winter window.

They clarify that Burnley ‘would be willing’ to loan Churlinov away next month because he is not currently in their plans. If this is the case, their ‘first point of contact’ will be Schalke.

And a deal is on the table, according to his agent, who claims the player would be delighted to return.

“Darko still loves Schalke and would gladly assist.” When asked about it, he remarked, “FC Schalke and FC Burnley would have to play along.”

In other words, Churlinov is eager as mustard, and it’s up to Burnley and Schalke to hammer out a deal that doesn’t appear to be too complex.
