Everton and Burnley are two clubs interested in former Derby teenager Archie Brown.
Defender Brown has made a name for himself in Europe since departing Pride Park in 2021 after coming through their program.
And the English left-back is now on the radar of clubs in England, Germany’s Bundesliga, and Italy’s Serie A.
The 21-year-old moved to Lausanne from Derby, and his form there earned him a summer move to Gent in Belgium.
Brown had been an ever-present since his arrival in August, and his reputation in Belgium is growing after being a standout performance for the side that is third in the league and has advanced to the last-16 of the Europa Conference League.
In addition to Everton and Burnley, Championship Leeds are keeping an eye on Brown.
Meanwhile, his performances have landed him on the radar of England’s under-21 team, with Brown in line for a call-up to Lee Carsley’s next squad in March.
Brown signed a four-year contract with Gent, and despite increased interest, the club plans to keep him until at least next summer.
Brown made three games for Lausanne this season before joining Gent, and FIFA rules prohibit him from playing for a third team in the same season.
