On Tuesday night, Jude Bellingham was back in action for Real Madrid… Nonetheless, he took the time to acknowledge his sibling.
Bellingham contributed another assist as Real Madrid defeated Union Berlin 3-2 to complete their unblemished record in the Champions League group stage.
That brings his total goal involvement to seven in the five European games he’s played this season, and it’s safe to say things couldn’t be going much better for him.
Jobe scored the winning goal for Sunderland against Leeds on a fantastic night for the Bellingham brothers.
Jude was quick to message his brother on X, formerly Twitter, saying, “Let him cook.”
After the match, Jobe Bellingham said: “To be honest, I couldn’t tell you much about it. I just ran in and headed it and hoped for the best, I got clattered.
“I’m always trying to find space. I had a goal disallowed the other day, so that was motivation for me to score.
“Today, the game required me to play deeper. If the game requires it then I’ll do it.
“I can use my skill set to play up front, in the middle and out wide too. I’ll just play anywhere the manager and coaches want me to play and I’ll try my hardest.”
The 18-year-old has four goals and one assist for Sunderland since his move from Birmingham this summer.
Jobe had a message from Jude.
Tottenham had previously been believed to be keeping tabs on the adolescent.
Jude is a proud older brother who touted his own potential as a future Golden Boy winner.
When asked who would be the next in line, the Real Madrid star named Jamie Bynoe-Gittens, Arda Guler, and Jobe, adding, “If Sunderland were to be promoted to the Premier League, watch out for him!”
