Champions League club finally respond to Milan’s transfer for fantastic 23-year-old

Even if the Gunners are apparently unwilling to loan out the former Spezia defender in January, talks between Milan and Arsenal for Jakub Kiwior continue.

Milan are set to recruit a new defender in the winter transfer window to supplement Stefano Pioli’s defensive options. Fikayo Tomori is the sole fit centre-back for the Rossoneri, who travel to Newcastle for a Champions League match on Wednesday.

According to Calciomercato.com, the Serie A powerhouses are in discussions with Arsenal about Kiwior, who has emerged as their top target due to his flexibility. The Poland international can play either center back or left back.

According to the source, Arsenal are reticent to loan Kiwior out in January, but the Rossoneri are continuing to press since the 23-year-old defender wants more playing time.

The Gunners value Kiwior around €25 million, but Milan aim to loan the defender until June and then debate his future at the end of the season.
