Journalist tells Milan to replace Pioli with ‘brilliant’ Premier League manager

Matteo Bonetti, a Serie A pundit for CBS, believes Stefano Pioli and Milan should part ways at the end of the season and advises the Rossoneri sign Roberto De Zerbi.

After a 3-2 loss to Atalanta on Saturday, Milan fell nine points behind Serie A leaders Inter. Furthermore, they will be eliminated from the Champions League group stage on Wednesday, when they must defeat Newcastle away and hope that Borussia Dortmund defeats PSG at home in order to advance to the Round of 16.

Pioli is under fire, and while many Milan fans have called for his dismissal on social media, CBS expert Matteo Bonetti feels the Italian strategist should stay in command until the end of the season.

Bonetti believes Brighton manager De Zerbi is a ‘dream’ for the Serie A giants, despite the fact that the ex-Sassuolo coach has recently stated that he is in discussions to extend his contract with his present side.
