Sunderland ‘will try’ to convince manager – Black Cats have ‘little chance’ of success

Sunderland are looking for a new manager after firing Tony Mowbray last week.

Will Still, according to a report from the United Kingdom, is on the shortlist to become the new manager of the Black Cats.

This is reported by Walfoot, who then weighs in on the potential of the Stade de Reims boss joining Sunderland.

According to reports, the Championship club would ‘attempt’ to lure the Belgian to the Stadium of Light, but there is a’small chance’ of success. The report does not elaborate on why the Ligue 1 manager may not transfer to Sunderland, although it is likely because to his success there.

Sunderland have listed Kim Hellberg as a managerial target in addition to Still. According to Sweden’s Aftonbladet, he is scheduled to meet with the English team later today.

Hellberg is currently under contract with Swedish club IFK Värnamo till the end of the month.
