Alan Shearer makes unbelievable comments on Newcastle star

Lewis Miley’s efforts in the last two weeks have been nothing short of spectacular, with the 17-year-old playing like a seasoned pro in our 4-1 win over Chelsea, 1-1 draw in Paris, and 1-0 win over Manchester United.

In today’s press conference, Eddie Howe heaped praise on him, but he has also earned praise from Alan Shearer, Gary Lineker, Jeff Stelling, and Ally McCoist, all of whom praised his performances.

Shearer describes him as a “natural,” Lineker was taken aback by his “stamina,” Stelling believes he should be flying to Euro 2024 if he maintains his current level of performance, and McCoist can’t believe his game knowledge and “remarkable” awareness for a player his age.

Here’s what all four have had to say, starting with Shearer and Lineker’s comments on the Rest Is Football podcast:

Gary Lineker – “We have got another player in midfield who is four years younger than Tino Livramento…Lewis Miley! looks so confident, so comfortable on the ball, his pressing, I was incredibly impressed by his stamina throughout the game, he kept going. What a performance.”

Alan Shearer – “17-years-old and in the last seven days he’s had Chelsea, PSG in the Champions League and then Manchester United. He must think he is in dreamland.

“He just looks natural, he looks very comfortable. Other than looking at his baby looks, if you didn’t know who or what he was you would think he has been around for years, the way he was strutting around the pitch and closing down and the balance he had on the ball. I thought it was another huge performance from him. And again the future looks great for him.”
