Living up to expectations
Gordon has reached the levels that Everton fans expected him to this season, albeit in the black and white of Newcastle.
The Toffees academy product extended his good run with the game-winning goal against Manchester United on Saturday (2 December).
Gordon, who was gradually worked into the side on his lone prior journey to Goodison as a visiting player, is now expected to start this match.
Despite a lengthy injury list, Newcastle has a number of great players, but Gordon is without a doubt the one to watch.
old players, as we have seen multiple times throughout the years, always seem to make an effect against their old organizations.
Ashley Young will have to keep Gordon quiet if he is used out on the left side of the attack.
If they do, Everton has more than enough attackers to make a difference on the opposite end.
