Latest- Fabrizio Romano confirms AC Milan transfer for fantastic 23-year-old

AC Milan is interested in Arsenal defender Jakub Kiwior, but a trade will be difficult to complete.

According to Fabrizio Romano, a famous football journalist and CaughtOffside columnist, the Rossoneri are interested in Arsenal’s Polish center-back.

Few supporters anticipated the 23-year-old, who joined from Spezia Calcio less than a year ago, to be linked with a move elsewhere so soon after coming.

However, with the centre-back’s game-time heavily restricted as Mikel Arteta continues with Gabriel and William Saliba at the heart of his defence, Kiwior has found opportunities hard to come by.

Although AC Milan would like to bring Kiwior back to Italy on loan, the odds of him resuming his career overseas are small because Arsenal will not allow the defender to leave the Emirates on loan.

“AC Milan will sign a new centre-back in 2024, and Arsenal’s Jakub Kiwior is one of the names on their list,” he said in his Substack column.

“The issue is that the Gunners are currently unwilling to let him go on loan, and Milan can only proceed with a loan deal.” That’s why they’re looking into different options.”

During his first year in London, Kiwior, who has four-and-a-half-years left on his contract, has scored one goal in 18 games in all competitions.
