Champions League club finally reach agreement to sign Milan star in January

Rade Krunic is on the verge of leaving AC Milan in January after falling out of favor recently. According to several sources, Fenerbahce is still interested in the midfielder and is planning an offer of €5 million.

Krunic was left on the bench against Frosinone on Saturday evening, with Stefano Pioli opting to start Yacine Adli, Ismael Bennacer, and Tommaso Pobega instead. A strong message from the boss, who has also switched to a midfield tandem rather than a three-man midfield.

According to Daniele Longo, Krunic’s move is growing closer, and he already has a deal with Fenerbahce worth roughly €3.5 million per year. Around €1m more than Milan are willing to offer, and it should also be a three-year term.

According to Sporx, Fenerbache are willing to put €5 million on the table for Milan, who requested for more than €10 million in the summer. The feeling is that this will not be enough to close the transaction, but a couple million more could do the trick.

In any event, Pioli will be able to rely on Bennacer’s abilities in the coming weeks, making it even more difficult for Krunic to receive playing time. It might be worth playing him for a while to keep his value from dropping too much.
