Insider identifies Chicago Bulls’ main trade priority

With a nucleus of Zach LaVine and DeMar DeRozan, the Chicago Bulls were looking to make a run this season.

But it appears that this is not going to happen.

The Bulls have been one of the NBA’s worst teams to start the season, and all indicators lead to them selling its best players.

Chicago has a 5-14 record and shows no indications of improvement.

It has become evident that in a few months, this team will look drastically different.

LaVine is the one player the Bulls want to move quickly.

He no longer fits into their plans, and the Bulls are hoping for a large package of players and draft assets in exchange.

According to K.C. Johnson via NBACentral, the Bulls’ main priority is to trade LaVine before anyone else.

It seems like once LaVine is traded, then the Bulls will focus on moving other players.

LaVine is having another good scoring season.

He averages 21.0 points per game, 4.9 rebounds, and 3.4 assists per game.

He’d be a welcome sight for any team in need of a backup quarterback.

The Los Angeles Lakers, Golden State Warriors, and Miami Heat are among the teams that should be interested.

Each could benefit from another scoring threat to help propel them into the top tier of clubs.

The trade negotiations around LaVine should pick up soon.

Despite the fact that the trade deadline isn’t until February, this appears to be a deal that could come sooner rather than later.
