Rade Krunic’s future with AC Milan is uncertain, and he could leave the club in January, according to a report. The contract renewal has not been stated, and if an offer is made, he will most certainly say farewell.
Due to the injury of Ismael Bennacer, Kurnic was a key player at the start of this season. However, after suffering an injury himself, the Bosnian has struggled to perform, and the Algerian’s return is now imminent.
The contract renewal has not been established, according to today’s issue of Gazzetta dello Sport (see photo below), with the parties having extremely different opinions on the new wage. Milan are therefore open to accept an offer in January if one is made.
Given that Krunic’s contract expires in 2025, this could be the Rossoneri’s only chance to adequately capitalize on his departure. He would only have one year left in the summer, putting Milan in a difficult negotiation situation.
Fenerbahce were quite interested in the summer, even making a bid, and it remains to be seen whether they will try again in January. As the story continues, Krunic would accept an offer from them, and the feeling is that Milan would as well.
