Despite his disastrous loan experience with the Rossoneri during the 2022/23 season, AC Milan are considering bringing Aster Vranckx back to the club, according to a rumor.
Vranckx, who returned to Wolfsburg in the summer, has become a starter in midfield again this season, according to TMW (via Milan News). He was loaned to Milan with a buy option, but Milan elected not to execute it.
The Belgian appeared in nine Serie A games for Milan, however he only played 235 minutes. Milan would have had to pay €12 million to acquire him, and it was evident that this would not happen.
He is reflecting on his best moments with Wolfsburg, and his contract will expire in January. He might be signed for €8-10 million, depending on Wolfsburg’s desire.
Vranckx was close to joining Fiorentina in the summer after Milan sent him back to Wolfsburg.
