2 Bulls gaining major trade interests, they’re not Zach LaVine and DeMar DeRozan

It looks like NBA front offices are more eager to trade for Bulls’ Alex Caruso and Patrick Williams over Zach LaVine and DeMar DeRozan.

Many opponents are expecting the Chicago Bulls to blow up their roster at any time. They’ve consistently been unimpressive for such a talented cast. There has been a lot of buzz surrounding talents like Zach LaVine and DeMar DeRozan, who have the most star-caliber talent on the team.

However, other teams simply do not like the two. Others want players who can be easily integrated into their system. According to Marc Stein, this is why Patrick Williams and Alex Caruso have piqued the curiosity of NBA front offices the most.

Sign or Decline: Proposed Bulls four-year Patrick Williams extension

You read that correctly! Teams are not interested in any of the Bulls’ stars. They’d rather go for Alex Caruso and Patrick Williams. Caruso is anticipated to receive multiple offers from NBA teams.

However, the Bulls have refrained from trading him because they realize how much he can still offer to the team. Williams, on the other hand, has a lot of raw and untapped talent that other clubs would be interested in exploring. Squads and front offices have learnt to look past his mediocre results while with the Bulls.

Obviously, Zach LaVine and DeMar DeRozan would still drive many teams insane. However, many NBA teams appear to have a core around which they are currently growing. It will take time for big personalities like these two to adjust to a new system with clashing egos and fresh schematics.
