The Newcastle United midfielder is one month into a 10-month suspension from the sport after the Italian federation discovered he had violated the rule that prevents footballers from betting on sports.
And it’s likely that the 23-year-old would spend most, if not all, of the holiday season in the UK because he’s still allowed to train with the Magpies.
Tonali appears to be adjusting into life in the North East after a rough year. Juliette Pastore, his long-term partner, has frequently posted updates regarding the couple’s lifestyle.
Juliette shared this sweet photo of Tonali and their joint French Bulldog cuddling together in front of the TV and fire last night.
Juliette has been a huge supporter of the midfielder during this trying time.
In August, the fashion designer revealed how difficult the couple’s relocation from Milan was.
“It’s been a difficult few months,” she wrote on Instagram. “You find yourself turning your life upside down and moving to another country far away from everything from one moment to the next.” Not to mention the transfer and bureaucratic problems.
“There were a few people who didn’t help and didn’t made this change easy, but grinding our teeth we kept going.”
After Tonali’s football ban was announced last month, she uploaded a photo of the pair’s hands linked with the phrase “always and forever by your side.”
