Charles De Ketelaere’s debut season with AC Milan did not go as planned, therefore he was loaned to Atalanta, where he has began to demonstrate his skill.
According to Fichajes, Arsenal and Manchester United are ‘seeking to make a bid’ for De Ketelaere because both clubs are looking for a midfielder who can link the midfield and attack.
According to the source, both teams are keen to sign the talented Belgian midfielder from Atalanta, although it should be noted that he is on a season-long loan from Milan to the Bergamo club.
Atalanta has the option to make it permanent, but only at the conclusion of the season, so it remains to be seen how any January bid could culminate in a permanent move to London or Manchester.
De Ketelaere has piqued the interest of some of the Premier League’s most illustrious clubs, like Arsenal and Manchester United, who consider the Belgian as a precious piece with great potential.
Following his €35 million move from Club Brugge in the summer of 2022, the 22-year-old has two goals and two assists in 14 appearances in all competitions for La Dea.
Sky stated at the time that Milan agreed to a €3 million loan and a €23 million option to buy, plus €4 million in future bonuses, for a total of roughly €30 million. Milan will also benefit from a 10% resale clause.
