General managers from across the league are anticipated to meet in Chicago for the annual Champions Classic, where they will explore potential trades. In his sixth season with the Bulls, LaVine has been a steady force, averaging 21.9 points, 3.0 assists, and 4.8 rebounds in 2023-24.
The 6-foot-5 guard, who is 28 years old, is in the second year of a five-year, $215 million contract.
Despite LaVine’s individual accomplishments, the Bulls have struggled to develop a winning culture since his arrival in 2017. The team’s current record is 4-7, prompting speculations about potential trade options and reevaluating LaVine and the Bulls organization’s objectives.
