After their several scouting missions, a report suggests that AC Milan is determined to win the race for Matija Popovic.
Milan is interested in signing Partizan Belgrade’s 17-year-old Popovic, according to Calciomercato.com. The teenage attacker has an intimidating presence due to his 1.96m height and combination of speed, technical skill, and aesthetic beauty.
Milan has been keeping an eye on the Serbian youth international for a while, and they took proactive steps to try and sign him in the hopes of finalizing a very intriguing contract as soon as possible.
Given their decisive work with Popovic’s father, Geoffrey Moncada and Antonio D’Ottavio are aware that the discussions are progressing well. His contract with Partizan expires on December 31st, thus he would enter on a free transfer provided the last few elements are worked out.
Given that Barcelona, Borussia Dortmund, and Bayern Munich are also interested in the teenager, the Rossoneri are being extremely cautious until the contracts are signed. Still, a lot of the work has been completed, and it seems likely to cross the finish line.
