Amanda Staveley has just delivered a message to Newcastle fans after Saudi Arabia trip

In advance of Wednesday’s Champions League match, Amanda Staveley and Mehrdad Ghodoussi are getting ready to return to Tyneside after missing Newcastle United’s meeting against Crystal Palace on Saturday.

The Magpies hope to build on their strong start to the competition when they take on Borussia Dortmund at St. James’ Park in the Champions League. Newcastle is in the top after two games with four points, despite being in the so-called “group of death.”

Over the weekend, Staveley and her spouse Mehrdad Ghodoussi visited Saudi Arabia; the latter even turned to social media to get suggestions on where to watch the match in Riyadh.

Staveley has sent a message to her supporters on her own Instagram account, and the two now appear ready to make a repeat trip to Newcastle.

“I’m excited to return home to Newcastle, but I also wanted to take this opportunity to thank all of our amazing fans for their support of both our men’s and women’s teams this season,” she wrote. You show our talented men and women such enthusiasm and gratitude, and for that I will always be humbled. Our performance is greatly impacted by the love and respect you show for the entire NUFC community at every game, which also makes us a very difficult opponent. I’m grateful

They anticipate another exciting Champions League evening.
Staveley has expressed gratitude to the supporters for their amazing help this season and predicts that Wednesday night will bring more of the same.

Staveley seems prepared to return to Newcastle after sending a message to her followers on her own Instagram account.
