AC Milan is one of several major European clubs connected with a deal for Lille defender Tiago Djalo, who formerly played for the Rososneri.
According to today’s print edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Portuguese defender is currently rehabilitating from a knee injury, but he could be back on the field soon.
Many clubs are waiting for that opportunity to see if he would be a good acquisition. He is out of contract at the end of the season, but a January move is not out of the question.
Inter have previously been connected with him and could still be interested in adding additional youthful defensive depth. Similarly, Juventus has previously indicated interest.
Milan previously had the 23-year-old on their books, but he was utilized as part of the deal to bring Rafael Leao to the club. With defensive depth an issue, a return to Milan appears to be on the cards.
However, all three Serie A clubs should be wary of the interest displayed by Barcelona in Djalo.
