Corpay has recently entered into similar sports sponsorship agreements with international football clubs. The company partnered with Aston Villa in September. Corpay became the club’s official commercial FX partner as a result of this relationship, providing solutions to manage foreign exchange risks and streamline global payments.
Corpay’s Partnerships Are Growing
Corpay, Aston Villa’s official commercial FX partner, assists the club by expanding its services to the club’s network of corporate business partners. This means that these entities can use Corpay’s platform to properly manage their foreign exchange exposure, according to the company’s announcement of the arrangement.
The statement continued: “With our strong focus on growing the Corpay brand, along with our corporate payments and foreign exchange business globally, we are excited by the opportunity to partner with one of the Premier League’s oldest and most successful football clubs.”
Corpay has been actively growing its ties across the financial sector outside of sports. The company announced a partnership with Sila Inc., a finance software platform, last year. This collaboration gives Sila’s customers access to a variety of currencies and cross-border payment possibilities in over 100 countries.
