Andriy Kirichenko, a football agent, has been discussing Nazariy Rusyn’s transfer to Sunderland as well as the players’ potential.
Andriy Kirichenko, a football agent, believes new Sunderland acquisition Nazarey Rusyn has the ability to succeed in England following his delayed transfer to Wearside.
The 24-year-old forward joined Sunderland on transfer deadline day, with Black Cats sporting director Kristjaan Speakman describing the transaction as a ‘complicated procedure.’
Rusyn has made four Championship substitute appearances for Sunderland and admits he has struggled with the language barrier since relocating to England. Since his arrival, the forward has been taking English classes, and under-21s player Timur Tuterov has assisted his compatriot in communicating with teammates and coaches.
Rusyn’s transfer to Sunderland was discussed with Football Transfer
“We have good relations with the club because we previously transferred the Ukrainian forward Timur Tuterov there from Kolos with his agent Vadym Shabli,” Kirichenko stated. The bargaining process began. We were able to arrange this move with the help of Shabli. The procedure dragged on because the parties couldn’t reach an agreement that satisfied both clubs. We were able to reach an agreement on everything through negotiations, and everyone was happy. Clubs have traditionally bargained for the player’s worth. This was the primary stumbling block.
Rusyn was named to Ukraine’s national team roster for this month’s European qualifying matches, although he did not play in the 2-0 victory against North Macedonia. Nonetheless, Kirichenko believes the player has a chance to play in the Premier League.
“He is the type of player who has all the qualities to be successful,” said the player’s agent. “The team coach and club executives like him.” He will try to prove himself in the Championship, and then life will reveal itself. Perhaps an EPL club will see it, or the team will go there themselves.”
