Joelinton sends four-word social media message to Bruno Guimaraes

Joelinton reacts to Newcastle star Bruno Guimaraes with great words
Newcastle United has taken on a Brazilian vibe in recent weeks.

Bruno Guimaraes is a regular in Brazil’s squad, yet his performance against Venezuela this week was panned by the country’s press.

Joelinton is another.

Before Eddie Howe arrived, he was dubbed a Newcastle washout, but the 27-year-old has since played and scored for one of the world’s most legendary footballing nations.

Joelinton, who is now injured, is anticipated to return soon. He was full of admiration for his Newcastle teammate as he watched from the sidelines.

After Bruno Guimaraes posts, Joelinton answers with three classy words.

Indeed, with Brazil dropping points in the World Cup qualifiers against a team they were surely expected to beat, Guimaraes posted rather earnestly on Instagram.

After a disappointing result, he wrote: “We know we have a long road ahead with many things to improve. Together we go after our goals.”

To which Joelinton responded: “I am a fan.”

Having Joelinton back will be a huge boost for Newcastle

Newcastle’s games come thick and fast after the international break. Howe’s side has played in the Premier League, Champions League, and Carabao Cup in less than two weeks, indicating that the Toon manager will need his squad now more than ever.

Being able to function both in center midfield and out wide, his absence from niggling injuries can only be a positive.

If he can maintain his form from last season, there’s no reason he can’t rejoin Guimaraes’ Brazil squad.

A World Cup is indeed on the horizon, and the prospect of Newcastle having two players in the Brazil squad is incredibly appealing.

Do the business at club level and there’s every chance that may happen.
