AC Milan now looking to sign striker who already has 12 goals in 8 games this season

AC Milan did not make a significant investment on a new striker for the future this summer, and the expectation is that it will happen next year, with several names being considered.

According to Tuttosport (via PianetaMilan), the Milan management is looking at Bologna striker Joshua Zirkzee, who has three goals this season, but he is not the only name being considered.

Gift Orban of Gent and Benjamin Sesko of RB Leipzig are both being watched, with both clubs clearly interested in signing a young centre-forward with promise.

Santiago Gimenez

Milan have been tracking Lille striker Jonathan David for some time, and the Canadian is still at the top of the list, despite having an asking price of €50 million and competition from the Premier League.

Another player Milan is keeping an eye on is Feyenoord’s 22-year-old Mexican striker Santiago Gimenez, who has 12 goals in his first eight Eredivisie appearances this season.
