Rade Krunic has been a key player for AC Milan this season, and they are eager to extend his contract, but only under their conditions. As such, the dialogue must result in a compromise.
While he is presently recovering from an injury, Krunic, who plays in the No. 6 position, was undoubtedly a key player at the beginning of the season. A renewal is presently planned in response to Fenerbahce’s interest in the summer.
Gianluca Di Marzio claims that the negotiations have started and that Krunic is requesting a salary of €3 million annually through 2027. However, because of the player’s advanced age (he turned 30 earlier this month), Milan is unwilling to abide by these requests.
Rather, the Rossoneri are prepared to offer him €2 million plus bonuses, which is still nearly twice as much as his present salary of €1.1 million. Although there is room for improvement, Giorgio Furlani would then require RedBird and Gerry Cardinale’s permission.
