AC Milan not scared by €50m demand as striker deal still top of list

AC Milan have prioritized Jonathan David for the No.9 position, seeking to capitalize on their solid relationship with Lille. According to a report, the Rossoneri will not back down despite the initial €50 million demand.

It should be emphasized that David has been associated with Milan for quite some time, but the time has arrived for the Rossoneri to make a genuine bid. Olivier Giroud is getting older, and a new striker will be required next season.

According to Corriere dello Sport (via MilanNews), Milan are aiming to capitalize on their good relationship with Lille, who have placed an opening bid of €50 million on the player. Gorgio Furlani is looking to negotiate a better deal because his contract will end in 2025.

Mehdi Taremi is still an option for the club, as his contract with Porto expires in the summer, but he’s more of a backup to David. However, it is suspected that Inter is also watching the Iranian international, which might complicate matters.
