Fabrizio Romano has claimed that Nottingham Forest are really impressed with Murillo. The centre-back has made his first two appearances for the club in the last week, impressing in both games.

The defender signed for Forest from Corinthians in the summer transfer window. A left-sided central defender, the 21-year-old has caught the eye in games against Brentford and Crystal Palace.

Murillo appears to be adjusting nicely to life in the Premier League. He doesn’t appear to be phased by anything, and he will now believe that he is the man in control of the shirt on the left side of the central defensive unit.

Romano claims that Forest is pleased with Murillo.

The Forest fans have been critical of the transfer guru in recent times. He was very vociferous over Forest’s decision not to play Andrey Santos, who was on loan from Chelsea, and some fans were not thrilled.

On Twitter, he’s now made a positive assertion about Forest. He claims that the club is overjoyed with their signing of Murillo after beating out competition.

In the summer, Forest spent merely £10.4 million for his services. Although there are a number of add-ons, the contract still represents excellent value for money from the Reds’ perspective.

Murillo has the potential to be a star at City Ground.

It’s early days, but Murillo has shown flashes of brilliance in both Forest games. He possesses an excellent passing range for a central defense and appears to be a reliable signing.

At Forest, the Reds must continue to give the player a chance to shine. Under head coach Steve Cooper, he should receive lots of chances, and he clearly likes him.

Forest seemed to have struck gold with Murillo. He will now seek to continue showing himself at the club, and he now appears untouchable in the Forest team.
