Danilo, according to Nottingham Forest, might be the next player to depart the club for a large fee. In the January transfer window of 2023, the Reds paid £16 million for the midfielder.
According to The Athletic, the youngster might already be worth twice as much as the club spent for him less than a year ago.
Danilo hasn’t been allowed to play since being taken off in the first half of Chelsea’s 1-0 victory. He injured his hamstring and it’s unclear when he’ll be able to return to the field.
Danilo joined the club from Palmeiras. He cost the club only £16 million and had previously been linked with other Premier League clubs before joining Forest.
Danilo has the potential to improve.
Danilo still has so much untapped potential that it’s frightening. Steve Cooper has previously described him as “exciting,” and he may not have a better manager right now.
Danilo must first get in shape. With a variety of midfield options now available, he will face a fight to regain his spot in the Forest team.
Danilo, on the other hand, feels upbeat about his chances of making the team again. Forest will have no desire to sell him in the short term, but they believe he will make them a fortune when the time comes for him to depart.
