Wales midfielder Lee Evans suffered an injury against Huddersfield Town last weekend, necessitating surgery. In recent months, the 29-year-old has been playing through the pain barrier, but his medial collateral ligament damage now necessitates therapy. Nathan Broadhead was an unused replacement in midweek after missing the match the previous weekend. He was unable to compete due to a “minor issue” with his thigh.

Cameron Burgess might make a comeback after being left out due to a tactical tweak. George Edmundson was called in to deal with the specific threat posed by Liam Delap. After joining Ipswich in September, Axel Tuanzebe has yet to make his debut. He was supposed to be considered for matches this week, however he did not make the squad against Hull.

Lee Evans is out. Axel Tuanzebe is doubtful.
